Brief Description of Role:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to work in our extremely busy department. The unit specialises in ENT/Ophthalmology Day Case activity. We also run a pre-assessment service for Ophthalmology patients and there is an opportunity to develop specialist skills. Knowledge and experience of nursing patients with ENT and Ophthalmic conditions is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and committed to developing the service and willing to provide a high standard of patient care.
Main duties of the job
This post would be suitable for a newly qualified nurse as training would be offered.
We will offer you a structured induction programme, with supported practice and professional development.
We can offer staff gymnasiums on both hospital sites, excellent pension scheme and advice on childcare.
