An exciting opportunity has arisen for approachable, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Children's Nurses to join Children's Services at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. You will work inclusively as part of a multi-disciplinary team caring for Children and Young People with a variety of medical, surgical, ENT and orthopedic needs.
Provide the delivery of evidence-based nursing care by providing expert clinical assessment, care planning, care delivery, care evaluation and clinical advice in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct on the Children's ward.
To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
To work across all ULHT children & young people's nursing services when required i.e. both acute wards, outpatients and community when required.
Main duties of the job
About the Role....
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their clinical expertise and knowledge caring for Children and Young people 0-16yrs working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
You will be expected to participate in a flexible 24hr shift pattern which includes a combination of Long Days, Long Nights, Early and Late shifts covering Weekdays/nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
You will require excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
