Main duties of the job
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder require service delivery in a wide range of clinical environments as well as to a diversity of patient presentations and will involve lone working in particular areas or specialities and at particular times. The service is delivered on a shift basis, working 7:45am - 8pm 7 days a week. The post is a rotational radiographer post. Rotating through CT, MRI and x-ray, both static and mobile units.

- DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration

- IV Cannulation Certificate

- Substantial post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience with NHS Targets and Care pathways
- Experience in specialised imaging techniques such as CT, Interventional Radiology/Cardiology
- Experience using PACS and RIS and an understanding of its significance for good service management and patient care
- Experience dealing with a diverse range of patient presentations
Desirable
- Experience of performing Quality Assurance tests and management of a robust QA program
