Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our newly established Digital Patient Pathway Management (DPPM) team. This innovative team is dedicated to supporting, enabling, and optimising digital patient pathway management across the Trust.
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes and models of care through user-centred digital tools.
Your work will ensure efficient and timely patient care and treatment, aligned with our operational and clinical requirements.
You will also contribute to significant cross-organisational quality improvement projects, helping to re-envisage processes and deliver better financial value.
Main duties of the job
- Drive the delivery of operationally led digital pathway management projects aimed at improving patient outcomes, increasing efficiency, and enhancing patient experience in line with Trust priorities
- Work closely with clinical and operational colleagues, and collaboratively with North West London APC to identify opportunities for improvement and develop/enhance digital solutions aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives based on user insights and user-centred design principles
- Ensure adequate support and training is available to Trust staff to enable the successful adoption and use of digital solutions in collaboration with the wider Digital Patient Pathway Management team
- Work collaboratively with the EPR Transformation team and existing Trust transformation teams to align digital enablers with operational and technical changes
- Support significant cross-organisational quality improvement projects to optimise processes underpinned by digital tools, aiming to make them more efficient, deliver better financial value, and enable benefits such as improved equity of access, reduced unwarranted variation in clinical outcomes, and increased productivity.
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of pathway management within healthcare, especially in an acute Trust.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical, operational, and technical teams.
