Person Specification

Education

Essential

• Educated to degree level, or diploma level, or equivalent experience of working in specialist area.
• Knowledge of a range of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and in particular Excel

Desirable

• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Clinical Systems Configuration Training
• Advanced knowledge of IT literacy with Microsoft. Qualification in IT Systems or significant practical experience

Experience

Essential

• 3 years' experience in Digital / Informatics
• Experience of Clinical Systems Projects
• Experience with user support, recording, receiving, assessing and responding to user queries, providing resolutions to problems and referring for follow-up training as appropriate
• Experience assisting in implementing Clinical/EPR systems
• Proven track record of working as part of a team

Desirable

• Knowledge of NHS informatics and business requirements
• Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies applicable to health and clinical practice
