Our service requires 1 NMC registered nurse to join our School Nursing Team for the South Buckinghamshire Area.
The post is ideal for nurses who want to develop new skills in working in the community with children from 5-19 years old in home and school environments.
Through using the Healthy Children Programme, successful applicants will be able to be part of our passionate, dynamic and evolving team working linking with other teams across the county.
This position involves undertaking child and family interventions, specifically with children and young people from 5-19 years, within both school and home environments.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will benefit from a robust competency process, supervision and extensive training. All of which could support the progression onto the SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - School Nurse) programme at Bucks New University.
All new staff will be provided with agile working technology. Over the past few months, we have successfully implemented virtual ways of working to support teams, children and schools, but with strong face to face support from an experienced skill mix team.
This position is based in the South of the county with your main base being at Amersham Hospital however you may be required to travel across sites as part of your role.
