An opportunity has arisen within the Community Therapy Service South East team to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist.

The Community Therapy Service is a large and busy MDT incorporating Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Clinicians, Assistant Practitioners and support staff. As a Physiotherapist, you will be part of the responsive services we are delivering within The Ageing Well programme as one of the few accelerator sites across the UK. This involves working together with other services to deliver high quality, responsive therapy services, working closely with other multi-disciplinary community team members, hospitals, social services and care agencies. The aim is to help people remain more independent for longer whilst receiving care in their own home, where possible.

The successful candidate will work together with colleagues, partners, patients and their families/carers in providing rehabilitation in the community thereby preventing unnecessary admissions to hospital/residential settings whilst also facilitating discharge.

In return we offer:
  • Regular supervision
  • A friendly and supportive environment
  • An inclusive and thorough induction programme
  • Annual appraisal
  • Commitment to learning and opportunity to develop clinical skills in the community setting
  • Flexible working

The Community Therapy Service is a seven-day service covering the hours of 8am-8pm, therefore, some weekend-working and early/late shifts will be required.

Applications are invited from Band 5 physiotherapists and full or part time hours will be considered.
