NELFT MID CAMHS team works across a large geographical area of Essex providing evidence based treatments to children and young people and their families/carers within the iThrive Model. The clinical lead role is based in Chelmsford but you will need to travel throughout Mid Essex.
The Clinical Lead will work collaboratively with the Team Manager on leading, monitoring and evaluating the clinical practice of the team driving towards clinical excellence. The post holder will provide and oversee clinical supervision and support the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality evidenced based treatments. This will include robust knowledge of neurodiverse presentations and management of risk with and on behalf of the team.
The successful candidate will evidence active clinical and managerial leadership skills within the team and will also join the senior clinical and strategic leadership meetings across SET CAMHS.
The Clinical Lead will hold a reduced caseload of complex and high risk patients and represent NELFT at multi-agency planning meetings including inpatient processes. The role will provide expertise and support to the team with complex cases through MDT's and monthly learning and development meetings. You will be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge to deal effectively with newly encountered clinical situations as well as demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and evidence working well in a busy environment.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
