South East Hampshire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) is currently looking for an experienced practitioner who will be able to fulfil the Non-medical prescriber role within the team.
Our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service team work with people presenting with their first episode of psychosis from the age 14-65 years over a three year period. We cover the South East area of Hampshire which includes Havant and Waterlooville, Bordon and Petersfield and Fareham and Gosport.
South East EIP is a high functioning multi-professional team working together to support service users in their recovery. The team work intensively with service users and their carers providing a range of interventions to address their mental health, physical health and social care needs.
This post is 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medication reviews for patients under the care of the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service and promote patient choice and effective outcomes. They will undertake a full holistic diagnostic assessment (with a focus on physical health improvement), using brief interventions; and liaising and referring to other agencies and professionals as necessary. A focus on health promotion and education will be expected.
Car driver and use of car within work hours is essential!
