We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Nurse who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our friendly team. You will be able to work both on the ward as well as i our Urology triage unit.

Confident leadership and excellent communication skills are essential for this role, together with a genuine interest in Urology.

Main duties of the job

You will contribute to the smooth operational running of the unit, acting as a role model for junior team members and supporting the development and delivery of a high standard of specialist nursing care. You will work closely with the ward sister and other members of the unit's management team and will deputize for the ward sister in her absence.

You will also need to cover urology triage at night which will help improve your decision-making skills and autonomous practice.

• Post-registration experience at Band 5/6
• Cancer/Urology surgery experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience of multidisciplinary collaborative practice
• Good organisational skills
• IT and data analysis skills
• NMC Registered Nurse
• Leadership experience
