Are you an experienced Physiotherapist or Osteopath looking for a new leadership opportunity in an innovative, forward thinking team? We have an exciting opportunity to lead the Musculoskeletal Assessment and Rehabilitation (MARS) team at Crawley and Horsham hospitals. You will be supported by a co-lead and Operational Lead Physiotherapist and be working within the wider Sussex MSK partnership, a truly MDT and patient centred organisation
Main duties of the job
Main Tasks
a) To provide independent, specialist advice and expertise in the assessment and management of patients presenting with MSK conditions
b) To educate and supervise other health professionals and physiotherapists.
c) To assist the Clinical services manager and team leads with operational and strategic planning, with particular reference to musculoskeletal out patient services
d) To support in the management of the MARS department
e ) To initiate and participate in audit/research projects and support the wider clinical governance programme
f) To be responsible for the supervision and performance management of clinical staff or students. This will include the use of formal appraisal and clinical supervision documentation
g) Identify own training and development needs and undertake appropriate training/education as required.
