The post holder will be part of the Workforce and OD (WOD) senior leadership team and will be responsible for the delivery of services provided by the workforce systems and employment services functions including

This role will be responsible for ensuring we have the right people in the right places, at the right time, through the development and effective execution of recruitment, resourcing, and workforce planning strategies which promote diversity, provide operational flexibility and ensure value for money.
The post holder will be responsible for the workforce transformation agenda in relation to the implementation, development and deployment of systems and processes to support the achievement of the Trusts People Strategy.
ESR and/or E-Roster experience are key requirements for this role

Main duties of the job
- Work as part of the WOD SMT to support the delivery of the Trust's People Strategy and the national NHS People Plan, taking a specific lead for the strategic digital and resourcing elements.
- Responsible for the implementation, development and ongoing maintenance of transactional HR systems and processes to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, stakeholder, and staff experience
- Development and implementation of operational strategies and plans for HR services within portfolio
- Continually refine and improve internal processes to optimise team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure a focus on continuous improvement, identifying and implementing improvements to the delivery of services, processes, systems and working practices in line with updates to legislation, national guidance, best practice and innovation
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to senior managers and leads on all areas of portfolio

- Educated to degree level
- Evidence of recent CPD at senior Level
- Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

- Chartered MCIPD
- Project Management Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or AGILE) or equivalent experience

- Experience of leading and managing operational teams and processes to tight deadlines (within the NHS or public sector)
- Significant HR experience in a large complex organisation

- Experience of working with partner organisations, such as ICS, ICS and NHS England
