The Skin Unit at UHNM is recruiting a senior staff nurse to join their well established team to meet the demands of the current service.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with excellent clinical and leadership skills. They will have at least two years post registration experience in the fields of dermatology and plastic surgery.
Working in collaboration with our current team you will provide care for dermatology and plastic surgery patients at both The Royal Stoke and County Hospitals and cross site cover is essential to the role.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will deputise for the manger both in the unit and within the wider trust
Develop, improve and evaluate best practice within the unit.
Organise and participate in meetings as required.
Deliver and oversee care for patients with a wide variety of dermatological conditions.
Provide wound care to patients following plastic surgery, providing expert clinical knowledge to practice
Assist in minor surgery and provide aftercare.
Take charge of the area in the absence of the unit manger.
Act as a role model, supporting and mentoring other staff as required.Uphold the trust values at all times.
