An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join, Radiology Department as our Rota Co-ordinator. You will be required to co-ordinate and populate the medical staffing rotas on a daily basis for the Department and the on call rota.
The Rota Co-ordinator will provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Service Manager. Ensure service objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. A key function of this role will include the co-ordination of all medical staff rotas to ensure the service is resourced to the required levels each day. You will be responsible for maximising the skills and resources within this staff group including training and development
Main duties of the job
Applicants should have the ability to proactively problem solve and work well under pressure, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively able to escalate issue and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times. You will to work as part of a team, however should be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
You will support the timely delivery of rotas and ensure effective measures have been taken to support adequate staffing. You will be responsible for accurately recording planned and unplanned absences, such as leave or sickness.
It would be an ideal opportunity for somebody looking to expand on existing administrative skills and build their experience working towards an operational role.
