We are seeking a team manager to lead the NOTSSCaN Data and Information Office (DDIO). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team on a range of national audits, to improve the knowledge, understanding and delivery of patient care.

A successful candidate will lead a team of positive and enthusiastic Information Co-ordinators and Analysts to deliver the team objectives, as part the wider NOTSSCaN Division, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and regional Thames Valley Networks.

You will have the opportunity to work with experts on each of the audits the team are responsible for and to expand your knowledge through a combination of on the job learning and internal/external training opportunities.

Main duties of the job

A successful candidate will hold managerial leadership of the DDIO team, and will be accountable for ensuring the quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data collected and reported across the NOTSSCaN Division and the Major Trauma Centre, on behalf of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Important goals include:o To provide management support to members of DDIO team, including agreeing objectives/priorities, personal development planning, training and workload monitoringo To lead the team in the provision of accurate, reliable and complete data, using a variety of sources of information including existing database systems and patient records, for the collection, entry, validation, and extraction of informationo To be attune to changes that may impact the provision of accurate and timely information, and proactively adapt to situations as they evolveo To engage with colleagues in a variety of teams to support service delivery effectively, with the aim of improving the knowledge, understanding and delivery of patient careo The production of data, information, and intelligence using a variety of IT tools and analytical techniques, and to disseminate findings and results in various forums for organisational purposes and to meet national and legal requirements
