Person Specification

Education/ qualifications

Essential

• Appropriate NMC registration (Adult Nursing)
• Degree level study
• Mentorship/Teaching qualification

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification applicable to cancer care. e.g. Chemotherapy/SACT

Experience

Essential

• Clinical experience working at band 5 level
• Experience of mentoring staff and teaching and education of others.

Desirable

• Experience in administration of SACT.

• Ability to organise ward activities and to use initiative
• Ability to solve problems and contribute new ideas
