A fantastic opportunity is now available to help shape and implement our new approach to Quality Improvement. You will be responsible for delivering a QI service to meet the needs of the organisation design, develop, lead and evaluate a designated programme of QI interventions, as well as contributing to the wider QI to ensure that the Trust provides high quality patient care and experience.
This role will be based within our new QI Team, aligning closely with Quality and Patient Safety, and have a key working relationship with our Trust and Digital PMOs. Based at Trust Headquarters, with opportunities for hybrid working and working on trust sites with teams.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can use their expertise in QI to deliver and embed a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead on the development of the key workstreams within the QI Programme, including QI Projects, embedding QI into systems and processes, and building capability through QSIR training.

Main duties of the job
This role will facilitate and support key projects and offer advice and expertise to our improvement community ensuring staff have the skills, knowledge, and tools to identify an issue, implement interventions and make improvements to quality.
The postholder will have a passion and drive for building the culture, conditions, and capability for continuous improvement. You will seek to continuously improve staff ability to use QSIR tools to make improvements across the trust and you will deliver QSIR and QI training regularly.
A priority for the QI Team, is to support on the Trusts strategic priorities and key programmes of work and be able to evidence. This involves working closely with the PMO and Digital PMO and if necessary, coaching the programme leads to use Improvement methodologies, tools and frameworks, to ensure a measurable approach has been taken for the progress of the piece of work at hand and that the impact of actions taken can be measured.

Qualifications

- Educated to post graduate degree level in health-related subject or business, or equivalent, appropriate experience
- Masters or equivalent level of learning
- Professional qualification in Quality Improvement (QSIR Practitioner, Lean, Microsystems etc)
- Evidence of recent, relevant continuing professional development and an ongoing commitment to CPD
