We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead our growing Preterm Birth and Multiple Births clinics

If you are passionate about maternal and fetal complexities then we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicant will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to support families who have complex maternal or fetal needs, liaising with tertiary centres where appropriate.

This is an exciting time to join the trust as we are striving to enhance our Preterm and Multiple birth pathways in accordance with Maternity Incentive scheme and SBLCBV3.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management, clinical leadership and auditing and improving the Preterm and Multiple Births clinics, based within the antenatal clinic. Antenatal clinic is the central hub for all women and birthing people who are receiving obstetric led care during their pregnancy.

The post holder will liaise with the lead consultants for each clinic and aid with the triaging of women and birthing people referred into the service. A key component of this role is to provide midwifery input and act as a failsafe to birthing people that are accessing these high risk obstetric services

The preterm birth clinic and multiple births clinic are two separate services that will be run and managed by the one post holder.
