We are currently looking to recruit Band 7 Senior nurse's to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED). We are a friendly team aiming to provide high quality care.

You need to be an experienced ED nurse ideally with experience in leadership and management.

You will be expected to lead and motivate the team and demonstrate critical thinking in clinical decision making to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff. The trust values Care, Quality and Commitment must be upheld at all times.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Post graduate courses relevant to specialty
  • BSc or evidence of study at level 6
  • Teaching and assessing course
  • ILS
  • Safeguarding level 3


Desirable

  • MSc or evidence of study at level 7
  • ALS
  • Level 1 or 2 Trauma qualifications
  • Management and leadership course


Experience

Essential

  • Extensive post registration experience within specialty
  • Experience of team and shift management
  • Experience in conducting appraisals


Desirable

  • Experience in serivce improvement implementation
  • Experience in research and audit


Knowledge

Essential

  • Application of evidence based practice and knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
  • Understanding of Clinical Audit & Clinical Governance
