You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the HCPC. Applicants should have recent NHS experience or equivalent.
Hours will include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
As a diagnostic radiographer, you will rotate through all areas of the plain imaging radiology remit including, ED, fracture clinic, main x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres, mobile x-ray, dental imaging and heart and lung outpatients. You will work at both the new cross and Cannock CDC sites to support our full range of services.
You will provide excellent patient care and a high standard of diagnostic imaging in either an independent capacity or as part of a multi disciplinary team supporting the patients journey throughout their attendance.
There will be the opportunity for applicants to train in cross sectional imaging as a band 5, allowing structured access to band 6 positions in these areas when they become available.
Our service is provided over an extended working day and at weekends and bank holidays. You will be expected to participate in a flexible working pattern.
