Main duties of the job
These are exciting times as the resourcing service grows at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, and the role of Team Leader provides a real opportunity for the resourcing team to 'be' the difference.
As the team-leader you will be integral in making sure that recruitment services are safe, compliant and delivered to the highest standards within prescribed timeframes.
You will need strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relations with key stakeholders along with personal drive to continually improve services. Demonstrable on-the- job leadership experience to create and foster team unity, trust and commitment is essential.
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of people management, having challenging conversations and developing others
Experience within recruitment in a healthcare setting will support you in recognising opportunities for innovation and streamlining NHS processes

Job responsibilities
To lead on providing a timely, compliant and customer focused end to end recruitment process, with particular focus on Medical roles.
To be the lead for the Trusts preferred applicant tracking system attending training and network events as appropriate, communicating notices, sharing best practice and new developments to the wider work-force. Providing training and guidance on the use of the system to recruiting managers as required.
Work closely with recruiting managers to ensure that all documentation meets the organisation standards in respect of job descriptions, person specifications and adverts, prior to publication.
To meet regularly with recruiting managers to understand resourcing requirements and problems actively proposing solutions.
Develop and update systems and procedures creating process maps, guides and standard operating procedures for use by the team and other key stakeholders as necessary.
Work with the team to capture and report on Time to Hire activity against the Trust KPI Target of 45 working days producing monthly reports to Identify and act upon areas of concern and under-achievement raising concerns with the Resourcing Lead when appropriate.
Participate on interview panels and interview decision making as required. Act as a best practice advisor to panels, ensuring interviews are carried out appropriately and professionally in line with trust policies.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook to competently compose letters, reports, excel spreadsheets/charts, presentations and data input often within tight time frames
Experience and Knowledge

- Demonstrable experience of working in recruitment delivering high volume end to end recruitment campaigns and supporting managers to develop and implement plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of pre-employment checks and UKBA requirements sufficient to be a point of escalation for resolution of queries and concerns.
- Experience of using 'Trac' (Applicant tracking system)
- Experience of using computerised and web based HR information systems, e.g. ESR, DBS, NHS Jobs and website maintenance.
- Previous Supervisory experience.
