An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered nurse to join the team at the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury Wing. We are looking for experienced, motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team at the Hammersmith Hospital
Our close knit team in the Sainsbury Wing at the Hammersmith hospital site covers two multidisciplinary wards under consultant led care with 24/7 registered medical office cover.
The areas have an established team of experienced nurses and allied health professionals. We care for patients undergoing complex surgeries, out - patient chemotherapy and managing patients' symptoms caused by their treatment or cancer

Imperial Private Healthcare (IPH) is a clinical directorate of the Trust providing multispecialty private patient services which on our facility at the renown Hammersmith Hospital include renal dialysis and transplant, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery, Hepatobiliary surgery, Oncology, Haematology and Gynaecology.
As part of an NHS trust rather than a stand-alone private provider we benefit from exceptional clinical back up and support and the treatment that we provide creates much needed funds for the NHS to reinvest into patient care.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision
- To assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team
- To deputise for the Senior Nurse when required
- Carry out planned care for a group of patients without direct supervision
- Ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, individualised patient care
- Assist and advise staff, both registered and unregistered in the delivery of patient care
- Have responsibility for the correct administration and custody of medicines according to Trust policy.
