Central Reception Manager
The role will be to manage a team of staff in Central reception responsible for the sample receipt and distribution within the Clinical Blood Sciences Pathology dept, based at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

- Advanced IT skills, incorporating MS suite of products and Pathology LIMS

- Extensive experience of managing staff in a diagnostic pathology department
- Experience of pathology IT systems
- Experience of managing departmental budgets
- Advanced experience of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Experience of Electronic Patient Request systems such as iClip or Tquest
- Proven experience of managing change
- Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and accreditation standards
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resource Management and HR policy implementation
- Knowledge of laboratory health and safety issues
Desirable
- Working with GPs/other primary care practitioners
- Project management experience/qualification

- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of previous experience
- Post graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent experience
