Health and Safety Advisor - Supporting the Health and Safety Manager in implementing the health and safety agenda across the organisation and to provide advice, training and support to all staff.

Main duties of the job

o To advise managers and all staff groups on the implications of current and new health and safety legislation and the management of health and safety which will have an impact upon staff, contractors and all Trust service users.

o To participate and take a leading role, as appropriate, in any working groups that support the Health and Safety Committee, producing written reports as required.

o To advise, assist and train staff throughout the Trust on health and safety in the workplace, including input into complex risk issues in clinical and non-clinical settings, e.g., ligature risks and controls, and the risk assessment process.
