This post will form an essential leadership component of the project team who will deliver the Maternity Improvement Programme.

Main duties of the job

The senior project manager will lead the overall programme and take forward specific projects/ work streams within the programme.

They will be responsible for
  • setting up the project structure to deliver the Maternity Improvement Programme
  • measuring the project/work streams
  • ensuring appropriate governance
  • operational implementation and monitoring

Person Specification

Essential

  • Professional training delivery qualification or equivalent experience of delivering and facilitating in challenging environments.
  • Experience of audit and assurance
  • Evidence of use of relevant learning methodologies, principles and paradigms of quality improvement


Desirable

  • evidence of facilitating staff engagement interventions with staff groups
  • ability to apply evaluative and reflective techniques
