We are recruiting for a Rostering & Temporary Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management,performance and direction of the Rostering and Temporary Staffing teams. The Rostering & Temporary Staffing Manager has fullresponsibility for the Rostering and temporary staffing function, ensuring the team provides an efficient and effective to allmanagers.You will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to the team in relation to e-Rostering best practice and effective temporary staffing initiatives. You'll take a lead on projects (such as system development and new modules), delivery of strategy and action plans aligned to the team and be responsible for resolving complex rostering and safestaffing issues supporting the delivery of the People Strategy within the scope of the role.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to develop strong relationships with internal and external senior professionals and be responsible for the management of the e-Rostering systems and additional modules linked to this such as Safe care & BankStaff.This will require effective monitoring and management in relation to the outsourced contracts for these systems and services.Ensuring the KPIs are achieved and appropriate sanctions re put into place when providers fail to achieve expected levels ofperformance.
You will need to resolve complex rostering and staffing issues in order to provide advice and recommendations other HR services.
Responsible for the development of HR policy and procedures within the Temporary Staffing & Rostering function which will impact across the organisation, working jointly with other organisations in the system to create a consistentapproach.
Driving forwards the achievements of recommended NHSI/E Levels of Attainment.
To provide effective leadership andmanagement, clear objectives, support and development to the roles reporting directly to this role and ensure this is beingprovided by them to the team members they are responsible for.

- Educated to Master's degree (MA), BTEC Advanced diploma, NVQ level 7 or proven experience
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development level 7 or equivalent qualification / experience or willingness to work towards
