We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Community Nurse Team Leader to join our strong and progressive team in Thanet. Main duties of the job
You will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary services managing patients with complex needs in the community. You'll have the freedom to plan care in your own way, with time to develop your assessment and treatment skills, with access to great supervision and a clinical lead to make sure you are on the right track.
You will be supporting junior colleagues with clinical development, helping them to reach their potential and develop the workforce of the future. If you are applying for a Community nursing role, it is essential that you hold the Specialist Practitioner (District Nursing) qualification. We will consider development and secondment opportunities.

Additional Working Pattern: 37.5 hours (7.5 shifts 08:00 - 18:00 Mon-Sun)

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered health care professional (NMC registration). Health related degree and evidence of relevant post graduate development at Level 6. Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice (examples specialist practitioner district nursing, non-medical prescribing mentorship, coaching, clinical expertise).
Desirable
- PTLLS/DTLLS, PGCE or Certificate in Education. Management or supervisory qualification or experience of study. Working towards Master level study.
Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in area of practice. Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads. Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor) experience.
Desirable
- Experience of leading and managing teams. Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E-Pay / E-roster/ AT-P/ CIS).
