Are you a mental health nurse looking for a new challenge?
Would you like to join us at Melbury Lodge where we provide you with excellent training, support and development opportunities?
If so then we would like to talk to you?
**** We are offering a “£2,500 Golden Hello Payment” to successful candidates from outside of the Trust - does not apply to current HIOW NHS Staff ****
Due to internal staff promotions we are currently recruiting for mental health nurses to join us at Melbury Lodge in our Mother & Baby unit.
Melbury Lodge is located close to the Solent Coast and the beautiful New Forest National Park and have excellent transportation links, either by rail (direct to Waterloo) and by road (M3/M27).
We are looking to appoint nurses who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individuals who are committed to providing support and assistance to patients in their recovery.
Perinatal mental health is a very rewarding area to work in not only for the outcomes for our service users but also the training opportunities we have from specialist Perinatal training courses across the country and psychological interventions training. But most importantly, personal development, (this year alone we have promoted 6 nurses internally from within the unit).
Our Trust also offers a competitive staff benefits package to make sure our staff are well looked after, and make sure they receive what they deserve to make them feel valued.
As a registered professional you will automatically become a member of our Academy of Clinical Excellence (ACE) which has a specific focus on the professional development and career progression of our nurses and Allied Health Professionals. As part of ACE’s commitment to you, our development pathway offer for band 5’s includes access to masters level academic study with our partner universities along with a bespoke leadership programme tailored to help you enhance your competence and confidence as a leader during your early career. If you are a newly qualified registrant we will provide you with a structured preceptorship programme to support you in making an effective transition from student to registered practitioner. ACE will support you to progress your journey with us and we offer all our registrants the opportunity to engage in ‘Career Navigation’ conversations which will help you explore your career aspirations and make decisions about your career trajectory.
If this sounds interested to you, please get in touch! We would love to hear from you!
