Applicants working at Band 6 level within Paediatric Audiology without an M level qualification will be considered, but the grading will be adjusted to reflect this prior the qualification being gained

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Paediatric Clinical Scientist / Audiologist to join our large, friendly, multi-disciplinary Audiology team.

The Service has excellent links with a highly rated Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and the regional Cochlea Implant Service which are both based on the same Bradford Royal Infirmary site.

You should hold an MSc in Audiology or be trained to M level, have appropriate NHS experience consistent with your qualifications, and hold professional registration.

Main duties of the job

The post entails working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing highly specialized paedaitric audiological services, including advanced and complex assessment and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children.

Essential

• Working within Paediatric Audiology

• Leading and developing an area of Audiology
• Involvement /leadership of audit and research

• Good organisational skills

Knowledge

• Specialist Knowledge of Paediatric Audiology
• IT skills and experience in database operation

Qualifications

Essential

• RCCP or HPC Registration
• MSc in Audiology with CAC/HTS, or STP Audiology Band 6 and appropriate post graduate M Level training (support will be given to those without M level qualifications to achieve this but the grading would be adjusted to reflect this prior the qualification being gained),

Desirable

• Mentorship/Supervision qualification
• Hold a full driving licence and has access to a car
• Sign Language Skills/Qualification
