We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our friendly team here at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London. Where we treat both NHS and self-funded patients from our local community and further afield.
The Embryology Team is compromised of ten HCPC registered clinical scientists and four trainees.
Barts Health Centre for Reproductive Medicine is an Health Educastion England (HEE) accredited training centre and currently have several trainees enrolled in the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Reproductive Science
Main duties of the job
We provide a seven day week service which involves working one weekend per month and complete about 1,000 treatment cycles per year. Applicants must enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a strong team players, able to work independently and have good attention to detail, in order to deliver a high quality laboratory service to our patients.

- Biological Science Degree(s) and Theoretical knowledge

- Previous experience of working in embryology
- Awareness and understanding of current issues in assisted conception a good understanding of the practical implications of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act (1990)
- Postgraduate practical experience in mammalian embryology
