An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Change Manager with Business Analysis skills to join AWP's Information Technology Department, in collaboration with AWP's BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Talking Therapy Teams.

As part of the ongoing enhancement of BSW Talking Therapies instance of iaptus, we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to support the BSW Talking Therapies teams in utilising iaptus in the most efficient way, implementing new features and aligning the three teams to a shared method of working within iaptus.

You will be working in collaboration BSW Talking Therapies and IT colleagues to deliver change. You will lead on the planning of the digital elements of agreed projects and therefore work closely with the Project Manager.

As an IT Change Manager your approach shall be flexible and innovative. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. The candidate should be able to present information to a range of stakeholders in a variety of formats depending on the situation. You should have a strong IT systems background and knowledge of iaptus is desirable.

The BSW Talking Therapy team meets in-person on a weekly basis, therefore we require a person who can attend these sessions face-to-face. To build strong working relationships.

Main duties of the job

You will need to understand the end-to-end implementation of information technology changes, to analyse, document and propose solutions for varied and potentially complex business areas, using a variety of business analysis skills and techniques.

This role will best suit an organised individual with a can do attitude and excellent problem solving skills with good attention to detail. It is essential that the candidate has good negotiating skills, is a great listener and is skilled at building positive relationships and dealing with any challenges that could arise.

Education and Qualification

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience


Desirable

  • Business Analysis professional certification, for example - BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis


Experience and Knowledge

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of gathering information using a variety of methods, including interviews reviewing existing documentation work flow observation
  • Experience of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrable experience of presenting changes back into the operational environment and to engage and train managers and users in the new process
  • Significant experience communicating with people, through the production of newsletters, by phone, e-mail, face to face and presenting to a group
  • Demonstrable experience of producing documentation for new and existing organisational processes


Desirable

  • Experience of iaptus
