The Executive Director of Partnerships is one of the voting Executive Directors of the Board and the aim of the role is to develop, manage and deliver the organisational strategy of NELFT. They will also be responsible for the development of our Collaboratives in both London, Essex and Kent and promotion of partnership working with other NHS, social care and third sector organisations for the improvement of service delivery to our patients in north east London, Essex and Kent.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will bring experience of working at senior level within a healthcare setting, with experience of successful development and implementation of organisational and clinical strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of managing major organisational change, particularly in a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency setting, ideally with experience of transformation in mental health and community health services and the development of integrated care across system boundaries. Crucially, you will promote and embed a compassionate, fair and just culture of diversity, equality, inclusion and human rights.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff)
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
