As one of 15 Health Innovation Networks (HINs) across England, we connect and support academics, NHS, industry and others to bring fresh energy to old problems, inspire thinking to new ones and adopt innovative practices at scale.We are looking for a data analyst lead to be responsible for our performance management data and the management information ofour project portfolio. You will work alongside delivery teams to coordinate data collation and you will be an expert in building data models and how best to present data and insights to demonstrate impact.
We are an ambitious organisation, looking for passionate and motivated people to join us with a proven track record of delivery. You will need tenacity to succeed, great communication and project management skills, an ability to build new relationships quickly, and the capability to drive innovation in practice.

Health Innovation Wessex (HIW) is a company limited by guarantee, owned by the NHS and University Members with staff hosted by University Hospital Southampton.
Based at Southampton Science Park in Chilworth in a bright modern office easily accessible from the M3, M27 and Southampton Parkway train station, the location offers free parking with a caf area and networking spaces on site. 27 acres of the Science Park site are designated a protected Conservation Area and open to staff.
We are keen to ensure that staff enjoy a successful work/life balance and offer flexible working dependent on the requirements of the role. Our hybrid working framework provides for in a minimum of 2 days in office or out visiting partners/stakeholders and home working aligned to business needs. General Duties
- Develop and implement data management schedules, processes and tools, ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency across tools and systems.
- Co-ordinate data collecting and produce data visuals and dashboards to support our operational governance framework, complete checks and analysis, validate data, trends and opportunities for improvement
- Play a pivotal role in driving organisational efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, processes, and design decisions for each tool or report
- Maintain a central repository for status reports and provide timely updates and performance reports
- Represent the organisation at key metrics and reporting meetings, supporting the Director for Industry and Innovation with the data harmonisation project and Central Network Metrics and Data Oversight Group (MDOG)
- High-quality and timely production of our performance measurement dashboards to support our operational governance framework and leadership team, producing ad hoc reports are needed.

- Ability to engage and co-ordinate others (e.g. stakeholders, technical experts, researchers) in programme development and programme delivery
