An exciting opportunity has arisen at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Financial Management Team in the role of Management Accountant.
We are looking for someone who is reliable and flexible and who demonstrates commitment to achieving both their own and the Trust's goals, whilst fully contributing to the team spirit.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play a significant part in the day to day running of the Financial Management Department. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist the Divisional Finance Manager in providing a high-quality financial advice and business support service to the Division.
Main purpose of the job:
Assists the Divisional Finance Manager to ensure the provision of a high-quality financial advice and business support service to the Division.
To support financial management reporting and budgetary control across the Division
Overall responsibility for monthly closedown of the general ledger system in line with deadlines. This includes co-ordinating the input of feeder files into the general ledger and all associated tasks.
Deputise for Divisional Finance Manager in absence or for identified areas.
