Main duties of the job
The Radiology Resource Manager will drive resource management and process improvements within our Radiology Department. This role ensures efficient booking, scheduling, insourcing, and outsourcing operations across sites. You will collaborate with senior leadership and external partners to optimize resources and enhance Departmental performance.
Key skills and experience: - Operational Expertise: Degree or equivalent experience in HR management, budget oversight, and performance metrics within the NHS. - Leadership: Proven track record in managing large teams and achieving targets. Experience in administrative and booking processes is crucial. - Project Management: Strong skills to co-ordinate and facilitate projects, with experience supporting change programs and working with healthcare targets. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and report writing. Ability to motivate staff to meet challenging targets. - Analytical Abilities: Proficient in analysing data to inform decisions and optimize resources. Strong problem-solving skills to manage operational changes.
