The successful candidate will have a responsibility for the co-ordination and development of the memory clinics. You will have a key role in the on-going assessment, treatment and support to people with dementia, their carers and relatives.
The successful candidate will collaborate with members of the integrated older peoples' community mental health teams and provide professional advice and support where required. You will promote and develop evidence based practice working within NICE guidelines and MSNAP Standards.
Main duties of the job
Management of caseload- clinical
To exercise good personal time management, punctuality and consistent reliable attendance.
To participate in the team across the Memory Service.
To supervise and support staff at Band 5 and under grades.
To develop, implement and evaluate policies and strategies relevant for the Memory Service.
To demonstrate the ability to effectively use available resources.
To co-ordinate day to day activities of caseload.
To analyse and respond to clinical situations.
To work within the Memory Operational Policy.
To maintain risk assessments for clinical caseload.
