The Digital Media Services Team (DMS) provides a comprehensive audiovisual, tele-medicine and event management support service to all staff Trust-wide.
The DMS team is fully immersed in the clinical diversity of the Trust via key support of P1+ level MDM`s & MDT`s (Multi Disciplinary Meetings & Multi Disciplinary Teaching). Audiovisual software/hardware is crucial to the successful delivery of these forums. We also operate an internal 1st to 3rd line maintenance repair programme and are self governing . Event production and video creation is an emerging part of our evolving remit we are recognised as the Trust experts in this field. Above all we are customer and result focused and our ethos of service delivery is paramount to our success.
Support is currently provided between 8:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional event production shifts dependent on client requirements.
We are looking for a senior technician with all-round DMS disciplines in production, post production and event management. Having previous management experience of both personnel and users expectations would be an advantage.
The primary aspects of the role include: comprehensive support of trust-wide MDM`s/MDT`s which are heavily reliant on DMS technology, 3rd line maintenance/repair programme and event management. The departmental remit works under a regime of continual improvements.

The role will require interaction with a host of colleagues at various levels of the organization. You must be results driven whilst striving to meeting the expectations of all users.
The role`s primary responsibility is the efficient and effective delivery of the services provided by Digital Media Services department .

- Comprehensive support of all trust-wide MDM`s and MDT`s.
- Script to Screen video production including, post production, filming and direction .
- Live Broadcast event management including surgical events, trust-wide communications and O.B. shows.
- 1st to 3rd line maintenance and repair of DMS hardware including full PMV (Preventative Maintenance Programme).
- Deploying AV systems installation process across the trust, to include needs analysis, client liaison, technical specification and full deployment.
- Supporting all trust-wide signage.
- Managing CINOS third party Teams integration end point networks.
- Technical coordination for VIP Teams events and full broadcast.
- Supporting the implementation of new Digital Media Services catalogue items and services and the integration of technologies and services provided by 3rdparties.

- Delivering digital media projects and managing change. Ability to deliver audio visual projects throughout the project cycle requirements, tendering, contract award and implementation
- Expertise and experience of providing digital media services collaborative working, video conferencing audio visual services
- Experience integrating audio visual solutions with Clinical imaging & video (e.g. DICOM, Telestroke, Endo/Laparos-copic theatres, Catheter labs, Echocardiograms etc.)
- In depth experience in the provision of Digital Media services audio visual, video conferencing, integrated bookings solutions and administration services
- Audio visual and video conferencing Venue maintenance and management
- Integrated control systems - in particular Crestron/AMX solutions
- Digital Media/audio visual switching and matrices solutions
- AV over IP including Spot Cams
- Visual/Imaging/display devices e.g. Projection, LCD/ LED/ Plasmas, intelligent whiteboard devices
- Audio components (audio mixers, microphones, speakers, audio visual cabling etc
- Delivering technical services for Video Conferencing events (e.g. MDM's live surgery)
- Implementing new video conferencing & audio visual solutions and venues.
- Event production & support (ideally live surgical/clinical)
- Proven in depth experience as a video conferencing technician/engineer in a large organisation.
