Community Psychiatric Nurse - New Hire Bonus included and Relocation
Guildford Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse to join the team. Please note that this role does not offer remote working.
The successful applicant will be part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive assessments and a range of approaches, interventions and treatments to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems with the aim of supporting them with their personal recovery.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to hold lead and professional responsibility for a number of service users. This reflects a need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will be committed to the delivery of a high-quality service, working both independently and as part of a well-established, innovative and recovery-focused team in meeting the needs of service users and their carers.
In addition to holding a caseload, the successful applicant will be offering initial assessments to clients referred to the service and be supporting individuals in mental health crisis' in the community. There are various training opportunities to build skills in the delivery of low intensity psychological interventions.
