Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) to contribute substantially to positive change and improvement in our maternity services.
The successful candidate for this post will join a team of experienced and senior leaders. They will ensure midwives, other staff, and students are able to access a PMA when needed by co-ordinating the activities of the existing PMA team. They will develop an effective communication strategy that ensures all PMAs are kept informed of current issues in maternity: local, regional, and national, so that the A-EQUIP model is implemented in full.
The post holder will be supported to contribute to the various programmes of maternity transformation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT), as well as collaborative working across the North West London sector for their areas of responsibility.
