Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must have substantial years' experience as a Band 5/6 in a ward setting, with experience of running a shift. You will also need to be an experienced, compassionate, 'hands on' Charge Nurse. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and you should be able to motivate the team to achieve and surpass the expectations of our patients, visitors and colleagues. As a Senior Member of the Team, you will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills and be confident in your clinical and communication skills.
We are a forward-thinking community teaching hospital, based in the beautiful New Forest area, near the coast. Parking is free on site, for staff travelling more than 5 miles, plus many other workplace benefits.
