We have an opportunity to join our fantastic team in Norwich, ideal for someone who is interested in innovative patient led recovery and the want to drive the improvement of patient quality of care, safety and experience.

We want to recruit a Band 5 Nurse to join our team which provides a more intensive treatment and support than in the community, and offer psychology, complimentary therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, brief talking therapies and physical health care.

** This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3,000. This is a one-off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months). The premium is taxable. Please note that should you leave employment, or choose to move to an alternative post within the Trust that does not attract this recruitment premium, you will be required to reimburse all or some it, as follows: 100% of the value of the premium in the first 12 months; 50% of the value of the premium in the period 12 months to 2 years following appointment. **

Main duties of the job

You will need a level head and be aware of the operational pressures of an acute inpatient environment.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of specialist mental health services for the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, serving a population of 1.6 million people. We are a large organisation covering a wide geographical area divided into ‘Care Groups'. There are also Care Groups supporting children, family and young people’s services, and specialist services, including Forensic mental health services.

Each Care Group has its own Leadership team, with the aim of supporting clinically led decision making locally, to support the needs of people accessing services. 

We have inpatient facilities across both counties with smaller bases in rural locations. Many of the Trust’s services are offered in the community, enabling people accessing services to receive the support they need in an environment familiar to them.
