An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team; we are looking to recruit a Clinical Team Manager on a 12 Month Secondment commencing September 2022 to our East North East Locality.

If you are passionate about working in an Older Peoples Service and would like an opportunity to contribute to developing an effective service pathway for Older People living in the Community, we would like to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to use their excellent clinical, interpersonal and management skills to provide leadership to the East North East CMHT/MAS.

You will become a key member of the Community Mental Health Service Leadership Team, working alongside Lead Consultants, Lead Psychologists/Psychotherapists and Clinical Team Manager colleagues from the Community Mental Health Services across the city.

Alongside this, you will play a key role in the quality improvements and innovations in the care group.

Main duties of the job

Within your role as Clinical Team Manager the services you shall manage within the ENE part of the city will be as follows Community Mental Health Team, Memory Assessment Service and the Memory Support Workers, the latter is in partnership with The Alzheimer's Society.

The role requires highly developed skills in both clinical and management supervision, performance management, risk management and an overall approach that is both engaging and supportive to the team and service.

This offers exciting opportunities for the successful candidate to innovate and implement evidenced based approaches to enhance the delivery of the highest quality care.
