Hereford and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Rotational Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Trust and be at the forefront of expert clinical practice and the transformation of services across beautiful Worcestershire.
We are fortunate to be able to offer a permanent position to join the established Band 5 Rotational scheme across services including Musculoskeletal, Pediatrics, in-patient rehabilitation, Stroke rehabilitation, promoting independence and Community Physiotherapy.
This role is for a full-time post, with 6 month rotations in services across Worcestershire.

Main duties of the job
The roles will involve patient assessment and delivery of physiotherapy interventions to the adult population of Worcestershire in a variety of clinical settings.
You will be required to assess, treat and manage a caseload of patients within each service specialty. To assist with case load management of the wider MDT or specific individual service requirements.
We would expect you to contribute to high quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based knowledge and skill. There will also be an opportunity to assist with service development and to teach and supervise other clinicians and students and help to shape the future workforce.
We are community hospitals, neighbourhood teams and community nursing services across Worcestershire and the provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Job description Job responsibilities

- Provide a physiotherapy service within a defined area on each rotation, working as part of a specialist physiotherapy team.
- Undertake physiotherapeutic assessments of patients with diverse complex and acute/chronic presentation, to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatments needed, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
- Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service/particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
- Deputise for Senior Physiotherapist
- Supervise and train health care professionals, carers and assistants in physiotherapeutic management, as appropriate. This includes working as a member of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
