Band 7 Health Visitor Child Protection Supervisor/Practice Assessor
LOCATION: Public Health Nursing locality Team
HOURS: 30 hours per week
SALARY: Agenda for Change Band 7: �43,742 - �50,056

We are looking to recruit to a joint Child Protection Supervisor/Practice Assessor role within a locality in our Public Health Nursing Service.
The post would also be suitable for a Health Visitor, to then go on to complete the Practice Assessor training with UWE with practical support in the workplace to achieve competency to sign off student SCPHN.
Following this training the expectation is to apply for Practice Assessor/Child Protection Supervisor dual role.

Main duties of the job
You should be motivated, enthusiastic about teaching both individually and in a group up to 15 in size. Also, you will bepassionate about both education in the workplace andsafeguarding children.
The post holder will have joint responsibility for delivering child protection supervision and supporting SCPHN students within the Public Health Nursing Teams.
Applicants will have experience of working with Child Protection Families. They will be expected to work in partnership across health, social care, education and the voluntary sector to meet the needs of children, young people and their families within the city
This post will be based in a locality in Plymouth (Estover), travel to other locations will be necessary.
please note that this role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibility
