This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Team Leader Role to support a dynamic and well respected team of mental health practitioners in the Home Treatment Team covering East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
The aim of the Home Treatment Team (HTT) is to provide an intensive home treatment care plan and intervention for young people in crisis to reduce presentations to A&E departments.
The service works in partnership with many agencies, taking referrals from, and working alongside local CAMHS teams, to add in to care packages for a time limited period with the aim of crisis resolution through supporting young people and families to maximise coping skills.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID
Main duties of the job
Applicants will be required to both manage and lead clinically on all aspects of the team's service delivery ensuring the highest of clinical and performance standards and targets are met.
The post holder will be expected to develop the operational delivery of the service as well as contributing to the strategic leadership of the team's development, playing an active part in the Local Leadership Team.
Applicants should have extensive experience in community based crisis work and have some demonstrable management/leadership experience.
