The Project Manager will work in support of the SASH NHS Trust Community Diagnostic Centre Programme reporting to the CDC Programme Manager.
The role of the Project Manager is to support and facilitate a structured approach to the implementation of several CDC Programme workstreams, supporting operational and clinical groups in both planning for, executing and embedding CDC services, processes and pathways to maximise the benefits of the programme for patient care.
Working alongside the Programme Manager, the Project Manager will manage projects through to delivery, adjusting project plans in line with changing needs and requirements ensuring CDC workstreams involve all of the relevant stakeholders and their continued engagement.
The Project Manager will work with internal clinical and operational colleagues, as well as external programme stakeholders to progress elements of the programme, maintaining a robust project and risk management framework and governance processes to help support timely decision making at key stages in the programme / project lifecycle.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in the achieving the programme deliverables, aiming to address local health inequalities by improving diagnostic services and its accessibility for our local communities.
Main duties of the job
o Work closely with the Programme Manager to ensure that programme / project activities are underpinned by robust governances to support timely delivery of tasks and objectives.
o Develop and foster good working relationships with all stakeholders and ensure members can count on reliable and knowledgeable support and information about the programme and its workstreams.
o Facilitate appropriate links with key CDC stakeholders to encourage knowledge sharing and learning, with respect to programme progress and opportunities for development.
o Support identification and reporting of risks and issues that may delay progress, facilitating problem solving / risk mitigation activities with the relevant stakeholders.
o Complete project documentation detailing the activities required to achieve the agreed benefits. Lead on the production of CDC Quality Reports and KPIs with support from the CDC Programme Manager and appropriate teams.
