Diabetic and High-Risk Foot Service
Working collaboratively with primary and community care.
Diabetes PODIATRIST Link / Educator.

If you enjoy promoting and facilitating specialist patient centered care, being proactive, identifying and addressing challenges, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Main duties of the job
This is a unique and exciting post for a Band 6 Podiatrist with a keen interest and experience in diabetes to join our team. The recruit will be a motivated, keen and enthusiastic HCPC registered Podiatrist.
Exercise your clinical skills with an exciting and challenging caseload, with a motivated and successful Diabetes and High-Risk foot team. This unique post has a substantial focus on education and skills development to promote and facilitate excellent patient care, from care homes to community care and primary to secondary care across Northants.
The ability to reach out and work collaboratively with our stakeholders, with excellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted to motivate health and social care staff across service boundaries. Skills in the development and use of resources both physical and electronic is essential.
This post is key and essential to reduce diabetes related amputation rates across Northants. The post holder will work with senior clinicians in the service to collect data and be involved in audit for continuous quality improvement of services.
