Main duties of the job
In this role, you will act as an autonomous practitioner, delivering specialised audiology assessments and treatments while managing your own patient caseload. You will be planning and prioritising your workload while delegating tasks within a multi-disciplinary team. This includes:
- Supervision, training and upskilling of staff including: Associate and Assistant Practitioners, and students
- Provide expert audiology assessments and treatments
- Manage and prioritize your own patient caseload
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
- Work across Bristol & Weston hospitals, primarily at St Michael's and Southmead Hospitals, but also at outreach sites

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Audiology Degree or BAAT/ BTEC Parts 1 and 2
- HCPC/RCCP Registered as appropriate
- Evidence of relevant knowledge and skills developments in all areas of the advertised role including attendance at relevant M level modules in Tinnitus, Hyperacusis and Rehabilitation
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
Desirable
- A post graduate diploma in Audiology
- Involvement in Relevant Special Clinical Interest Groups
