We're looking for a CAMHS Nurse/Mental Health Practitioner to work within our Crisis Team. The team is part of a supportive and innovative child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) in Southampton. The aim of this service is to support a child/young person in continuing with their mental health recovery at home with their families in the community and prevent a hospital admission due to the mental health crisis.

The post holder will be part of the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team delivering short term specialist mental health support for children and young people and their parents/carers to manage a period of mental health crisis.

The successful candidate would be professionally registered and be supported to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.

The CAMHS team is a strong and supportive team and has excellent structures to offer regular supervision and support.
