We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient Medical Team here at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and successful team and together we will be proud to deliver the highest standards of clinical quality, patient care and staff experience.
With support, you will hold a varied caseload, providing assessment and treatments to promote the recovery of our patients in preparation for leaving the acute setting. Involvement of patients and their families/carers in this decision-making process is paramount. As an OT team, we have been exploring changes in working practices to meet the challenges in meeting discharges from the acute setting, including promoting acute rehabilitation and early intervention.

Main duties of the job
You will be working with an established and supportive team of qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff.
With support, you will hold a varied caseload, with the opportunity to work across the medical ward specialities and develop specialist skills and knowledge in these areas.
As a team we are committed to support each other and maintain high standards of care within our clinical practice.
There is a commitment to support some extended services so flexibility to work weekends or bank holidays on a rota system may be required.

- H.C.P.C. registered (or pending qualification results)
